Chronotop cesty v dielach Mŕtve duše N. V. Gogoľa a Moskva - Petušky V. V. Jerofejeva

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with a comparative analysis of two poems in prose, The Dead Souls (1842) by N. V. Gogol and Moscow - Petushki (1969) by V. V. Erofeev, in which the chronotope of the road is an important part of the construction of the sujet. The first part of the work is focused on the definition and meaning of the chronotope of the road in a literary work and its multifunctional formal and content properties. We chose the studies of the literary critic M. M. Bakhtin Forms of Time and of the Chronotope in the Novel (1937 - 1938) as the authoritative work in the field of methodology. The second part of the bachelor thesis focuses on the definition of the genre of poem in prose, the analysis of the motifs and themes used in the poem The Dead Souls. We will examine how the chronotope of the road affects the overall character of the work and what significance it plays in the contemporary depiction of Russia. In the third part, we will proceed similarly with Moscow - Petushki. The conclusion of the thesis is composed of the comparison and interpretation of formal, stylistic and motivic means that were used in the selected works.

Táto bakalárska práca sa zaoberá porovnávacou analýzou dvoch poém v próze, Mŕtve duše (1842) N. V. Gogoľa a Moskva - Petušky (1969) V. V. Jerofejeva, v ktorých je chronotop cesty dôležitou súčasťou výstavby sujetu. Prvá časť práce je zameraná na definíciu a význam chronotopu cesty v literárnom diele a jeho multifunkčné formálne a obsahové vlastnosti. Za smerodajné dielo v oblasti metodológie sme zvolili štúdie literárneho kritika M. M. Bachtina Čas a chronotop v románe (1937 - 1938). Druhá časť bakalárskej práce sa sústredí na vymedzenie žánru poémy v próze, rozbor využitých motívov a tém v poéme Mŕtve duše. Budeme skúmať, ako chronotop cesty ovplyvňuje celkový ráz diela a aký význam zohráva pri dobovom zobrazení Ruska. V tretej časti budeme obdobne postupovať s dielom Moskva - Petušky. Záver práce je venovaný porovnaniu a interpretácii formálnych, štylistických a motivických prostriedkov, ktoré boli použité v zvolených dielach.
