Výchova a vzdělávání ve Francii 18. století

Abstract

In the following paper I will examine education and upbringing methods in selected French philosophers of the 18th century. In the first part I will focus on the work of madame de Genlis. I will mainly base my work on Adèle et Théodore, ou, Lettres sur l'éducation, in which she discusses the education of two young children up to the age of twenty-two. Throughout the three-volume book she traces their upbringing, education, and teaches them virtue, morality and social life. I will supplement this work with selected plays from Théȃtre a l'usage des jeunes personnes, which describes problems of society, but also discuss morality, religion, virtue and education, while drawing on La Religion considerée comme l'unique base du Bonheur et de la Véritable Philosophie. In the second part of the thesis, I will examine the work of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, specifically his book Émile, ou De l'éducation. In this book he deals with education of his imaginary student, whom we follow from infancy to the time of his marriage. Here the author focuses on the teaching of speech and the senses, but also on the teaching of virtue, morality, and later on the introduction to faith and the preparation for marriage. V následující práci se budu zabývat výchovnými a vzdělávacími metodami u vybraných francouzských filosofů 18. století. V první části se budu věnovat dílu madam de Genlis. Převážně budu čerpat z jejího díla Adèle et Théodore, ou, Lettres sur l'éducation, ve kterém se věnuje výchově dvou malých dětí, až do věku dvaadvaceti let. Napříč trojdílnou knihou sleduje jejich výchovu, vzdělání, učí je ctnostem, morálce a společenskému životu. Toto dílo doplním vybranými hrami z díla Théȃtre a l'usage des jeunes personnes, které se věnují problémům společnosti, ale také pojednávají o morálce, náboženství, ctnostech a výchově, zároveň budu čerpat z díla La Religion considerée comme l'unique base du Bonheur et de la Véritable Philosophie. V druhé části práce se budu zabývat dílem Jean-Jacquesa Rousseaua, konkrétně jeho knize Émile, ou De l'éducation. V této knize se zabývá výchovou svého imaginárního chovance, kterého sledujeme od nemluvněte až po dobu jeho manželství. Autor se zde věnuje výuce řeči, smyslů, ale také výuce ctností, morálky, později seznámení s vírou a přípravou na manželství. V poslední části popisuje výuku dívek a Emilovu přípravu na manželství se Sofií. Nejen výchovné a vzdělávací metody těchto autorů jsou odlišné, každý má jiný pohled na filosofii a přitahovali zcela odlišné čtenáře. Proto v...
