Nutriční stav pacientů s kolorektálním karcinomem před diagnózou a během terapie

Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the nutritional status of patients with colorectal cancer. In the theoretical part I describe the incidence, risk factors of colorectal cancer, clinical manifestations, diagnostics, individual types of anticancer therapies, their side effects and dietary recommendations for individual gastrointestinal side effects of anticancer therapy. In the theoretical part I also focus on malnutrition and nutritional support in the treatment of colorectal cancer. Also important is the prevention of colorectal cancer, which is described in the last section. The aim of the research is to compare the eating habits and lifestyle of patients with colorectal cancer before the diagnosis and during the therapy. The second objective is to compare the weight of the patients before the diagnosis and therapy and to find out the most common causes of weight loss in anticancer therapy. The third objective is to find out whether patients who have had a sipping support during their anticancer therapy will regain their weight compared to patients who did not. The research was conducted through a questionnaire survey. A total of 55 oncology patients with colorectal cancer diagnosis were present. Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na nutriční stav pacientů s kolorektálním karcinomem. V teoretické části popisuji incidenci, rizikové faktory kolorektálního karcinomu, klinické projevy, diagnostiku, jednotlivé typy protinádorové terapie, jejich nežádoucí účinky a dietní doporučení k jednotlivým gastrointestinálním nežádoucím účinkům protinádorové terapie. V teoretické části se dále zaměřuji na malnutrici a nutriční podporu při léčbě kolorektálního karcinomu. Důležitá je také prevence kolorektálního karcinomu, která je popsána v poslední části. Cílem výzkumné části je porovnat stravovací návyky a životní styl u pacientů s kolorektálním karcinomem před diagnózou a během terapie, druhým cílem je porovnat hmotnost pacientů před diagnózou a během terapie a zjistit jaké jsou nejčastější příčiny úbytku hmotnosti při protinádorové terapii. Třetím cílem je zjistit, zda se pacientům, kteří měli během léčby sipping, zvýší zpět jejich hmotnost v porovnání s pacienty, kteří sipping neměli. Výzkum byl proveden formou dotazníkového šetření. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo celkem 55 onkologicky nemocných pacientů s diagnózou kolorektálního karcinomu. Výzkum byl proveden ve dvou nemocnicích na onkologických odděleních a onkologických ambulancích.
