Feministické myslenie v kresťanstve a islame na príklade diel "In Memory of Her" a "Qur'an and Woman"

Abstract

The main objective of this bachelor's thesis is to introduce and describe the topic of religious feminism and feminist theology within Christianity and Islam based on two chosen works, In Memory of Her by E. S. Fiorenza and Qur'an and Woman by A. Wadud. In the work I outline the main themes, topics and aims of these feminisms as well as describe their history and development. This thesis examines and analyses the role and status of women within the patriarchal structures of Christianity and Islam, the two biggest world monotheistic religions. Based on my analysis of the two chosen works I will indentify how the key points and main issues of religious feminisms are reflected in the feminist theologies that are introduced by the two authors in their books. The result is a case study of these books which goal is to showcase the specific application of the perspectives, objectives and worldview of religious feminism through the optics of E. S. Fiorenza and A. Wadud. The outcome of this thesis is a closer look and an introduction to the Czech/Slovak audience with the issues, stances and aims of religious feminism and feminist theology in the structures of Christianity and Islam. Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je predstavenie a priblíženie náboženského feminizmu v kresťanstve a islame na príklade diel In Memory of Her od E. S. Fiorenza a Qur'an and Woman od A. Wadud. V práci sa zameriavam na objasnenie hlavných tém a cieľov týchto feminizmov, popis ich histórie a vývoja. Práca sa venuje súhrnnej analýze postavenia žien vrámci patriarchálnych štruktúr kresťanstva a islamu ako dvoch najväčších svetových monoteistických náboženstiev. Na základe analýzy dvoch vybraných diel približujem ako sú hlavné otázky náboženského feminizmu reflektované vo feministických teológiách, ktoré autorky vytvárajú vo svojich dielach. Výsledkom bude prípadová štúdia týchto kníh, ktorej účelom je poukázať na konkrétnu aplikáciu perspektív, objektív a svetonázoru náboženského feminizmu skrz subjektívnu optiku E. S. Fiorenza a A. Wadud. Výsledkom práce je bližšie zoznámenie československého publika s problematikou náboženského feminizmu a feministickej teológie v myslení kresťanstva a islamu - to s pomocou rozboru feministickej teológie nachádzajúcej sa v dielach, ktoré ešte v československom prostredí neboli bližšie predstavené a analyzované.
