Mediální konstrukce společensky závažného fenoménu zneužívání dětí a souvisejících témat v kontextu dokumentu V síti

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje mediální konstrukci společensky závažného fenoménu zneužívání dětí na internetu v kontextu dokumentu V síti. Cílem práce je tedy zjistit, jak média tuto problematiku reflektují, a které její aspekty jsou akcentovány. V teoretické části práce jsou shrnuty závažné společenské problémy související s fenoménem zneužívání dětí na internetu. Dále je téma zasazeno do kontextu nových médií a jsou zde definovány pojmy jako je mediální diskurz nebo agenda setting. Kromě popisu platné legislativy týkající se dané problematiky obsahuje teoretická část práce také shrnutí dosavadních studií a již realizovaných výzkumných šetření souvisejících s fenoménem zneužívání dětí. Stručně je představen také dokument V síti. V praktické a analytické části práce byl věnován prostor samotné realizaci výzkumného šetření a následnému vyhodnocení a interpretaci zjištěných dat. Výzkum probíhal kvalitativní metodou, a to konkrétně prostřednictvím obsahové analýzy a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Při analýze článků byly využity postupy zakotvené teorie (Strauss & Corbinová, 1999). Pomocí paradigmatického modelu byly v článcích identifikovány tyto ústřední kategorie, které v médiích dominovaly: média upozorňující na mystifikaci a tabuizaci v souvislosti s touto problematikou, stereotypizace predátorů...

This diploma thesis is dedicated to the media construct of the socially serious phenomenon of child abuse on the Internet in the context of the documentary Caught in the Net. The thesis aims to determine how the media reflect this issue and which aspects are accentuated. In the theoretical part of the thesis, serious social problems related to the phenomenon of child abuse on the Internet are summarized. Furthermore, the topic is placed in the context of new media, and terms such as media discourse or agenda setting are being defined here. In addition to the description of the applicable legislation related to the issue, the theoretical part of the work also contains a summary of previous studies and already implemented research investigations related to the phenomenon of child abuse. The document Caught in the Net is also briefly described. In the practical and analytical part of the work, the effort was devoted to the actual implementation of the research investigation and the subsequent evaluation and interpretation of the data found.
