Ivan Hrozný v ruském filmu

Abstract

(in English): The focus of this work is a depiction of tsar Ivan the Terrible and his government in Russian films. The interest in the historical figure of the first Russian tsar has been persisting among filmmakers since the beginning of cinematography in Russia. This is the most complex and interesting, but also one of the cruellest characters in world history. Over the years the image of Ivan the Terrible was transforming in motion pictures, so for the analysis of this change were selected films from different periods of Russian history - tsarist, soviet, and current time. The theme is understood from a diachronic perspective. Additionally, this work is examining the historical context in which the filmmakers were located and the external influences that acted on them and their work. As this work will show most of the selected films held a negative stand on the image of the tsar Ivan the Terrible. Only during Stalin's era, the image of the Muscovite's ruler has been changed in many ways to suit the ideological requirements of that time.

(česky) Práce se zabývá vyobrazením cara Ivana Hrozného a jeho vlády v ruských filmech. Již od počátku působení kinematografického průmyslu v Rusku historická osobnost prvního ruského cara vzbuzovala mezi filmaři zájem. Jedná se o nejsložitější, nejzajímavější, ale také o jednu z nejkrutějších postav světových dějin. V průběhu let se ve filmových snímcích měnil způsob vyobrazení této postavy, a proto za účelem analýzy probíhající transformace obrazu Ivana Hrozného ve filmech byly vybrány snímky z různých období dějin Ruska - carské, sovětské a současné. Téma je tedy uchopeno pomocí diachronní perspektivy. Práce navíc zkoumá, v jakém historickém kontextu se filmoví tvůrci nacházeli a jaké vnější vlivy působily na ně a jejich tvorbu. Jak práce ukáže, většina vybraných filmových snímků se držela negativního obrazu Ivana Hrozného. Pouze za Stalinovy vlády byl obraz moskevského panovníka v mnoha směrech pozměněn, aby lépe vyhovoval ideologickým požadavkům doby.
