Současná praxe a reprezentace argentinského tanga v Latinské Americe a Česku

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se věnuje argentinskému tangu z pohledu českého tanečníka. Snažím se zjistit, jaký dopad tango má na českou taneční scénu, a jestli si v konkurenci moderních tanců stále drží svojí dominanci. Zároveň vytvářím jistý generický profil typického českého tanguera, tj. tanečníka tanga. V závěru pak polemizuji s podobným výzkumem, který byl uskutečněn v roce 2008. Práce je rozdělená na toretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části se věnuji dějinám tanga nejen v Argentině, ale také v tuzemsku. Zjišťuji jak a do jaké míry se čeští autoři tangu věnovali a s jakými stereotypními znaky pracovali. V praktické části pracuji s dotazníky, díky kterým analyzuji odpovědi českých tanguerů na tento argentinský tanec. Zajímám se o subjektivní pohled reposndentů na tango jako takové, jejich jednotlivé charakteristiky, jako je věk, pohlaví či povolání, a v neposlední řadě o jejich osobní zkušenost s tancem. V závěru práce se odkazuji na podobný sociologický výzkum z minulosti s jehož výsledky polemizuji. This diploma thesis deals with Argentine tango from the perspective of Czech dancers. I am trying to find out what impact tango has on the Czech dance scene and whether it still maintains its dominance in the competition of modern dances. At the same time, I will try to create a certain generic profile of a typical Czech tanguero, or tango dancer. In conclusion, I argue with similar research which was conducted in 2004 and then four years later carried out. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the first, theoretical part, I deal with the history of tango not only in Argentina, but also in the Czech Republic. I will find out how and to what extent the Czech authors are engaged in tango and what stereotypical features they worked with. In the second, practical part, I work with questionnaires, thanks to which I analyse the answers of Czech tangueros to this Argentine dance. I am interested in the views associated with tango and the personal characteristics of the respondents, such as their age, gender, occupation and last but not least their own dance experience. At the end of the thesis, I refer to a similar sociological research from the past and I argue with its results.
