Sekularizace pražského dělnictva, Smíchov a jeho blízké okolí v druhé polovině 19. století

Abstract

(česky) Práce se věnuje sekularizaci pražského, zvláště pak smíchovského dělnictva v druhé polovině 19. století. Dělnictvo bývá obyčejně považováno za nejvíce sekularizovanou společenskou vrstvu a cílem této práce je tuto tezi lokálně prověřit a ohledat, proč právě v této vrstvě probíhal proces sekularizace natolik silným způsobem. Dělnictvo je pojato jako sociální vrstva, v níž se proces uskutečňuje a zároveň jej toto stratum aktivně vykonává. Proces sekularizace je pak rozložen do tří kategorií; náboženství - spiritualita - církev a je konceptualizován jako odkatoličtění a zároveň jako duchovní transformace. V průběhu ní tradiční náboženství (katolicismus), jeho instituce (církev) a religiozita ztrácí na své socio-kulturní síle a jsou nahrazovány moderními ideologiemi, státními (byrokratickými a racionálními) strukturami a implicitní spiritualitou, tedy "nenáboženskou vírou". V procesu sekularizace je akcentována především role urbanizace, industrializace, socialismu, církve a jejího sociálního učení. V práci jsou kombinovány teoretické přístupy ze sociologie náboženství (posvátný baldachýn) a religionistiky (dimenze posvátného) a jsou aplikovány na primární a sekundární dělnickou literaturu.

(in English) A thesis deals with the secularization of a Prague, especially Smichow working class in the second half of the 19th century. The working class is usually considered the most secular stratum and the aim of the thesis is to verify the proposition locally and to examine why the process of secularization occurred in the working class so powerfully. The working class is drafted as a social stratum in which the process acts as well as the stratum actively practices it. The process of secularization is then divided into three categories; religion - spirituality - church and the process is conceptualized as "de-catholization" as well as the spiritual transformation. In the process of the transformation, traditional religion (Catholicism), its institutions (church) and religiosity lose their socio-cultural power and are replaced by modern ideologies, state (bureaucratic and rational) structures and implicit spirituality, resp., "un- religious faith". In the process of secularization, there is particularly stressed the role of urbanization, industrialization, socialism, church and its social teaching.
