Komunitní nadace a jejich specifika

Abstract

Today, community foundations undoubtedly play a significant role in building community philanthropy and strengthening civil society through civic engagement. They are unique by their specific connection to the community, ie. to a particular geographically defined area, where this foundation financially supports activities, events, individuals or groups in the form of grants. These grants provide from a collection of donated funds from many donors and the impact on the community is that it addresses its diverse problems and needs. Thanks to this collection and the endowment can address these needs in the long run. In the submitted diploma thesis, is based on analysis of professional literature, the specifics of community foundations are derived and based on the analysis of the documents of the foundations, it is shown how many Czech community foundations correspond to this ideal. Komunitní nadace dnes bezpochyby hrají významnou roli v oblasti budování komunitní filantropie a v posilování občanské společnosti díky občanské angažovanosti. Jsou unikátní svou specifickou vazbou na komunitu, tjst. na určitou geograficky vymezenou oblast, kde tyto nadace finančně podporují aktivity, dění, jednotlivce či skupiny formou poskytování grantů. Tyto granty poskytují ze sbírky darovaných fondů od mnoha dárců a dopad na komunitu je, že řeší její různorodé problémy a potřeby. Díky této sbírce a nadačnímu jmění je možné řešit tyto potřeby z dlouhodobého hlediska. V předkládané diplomové práci jsou na základě analýzy odborné literatury vyvozena specifika komunitních nadací a na základě analýzy dokumentů nadací je ukázáno, nakolik české komunitní nadace tomuto ideálu odpovídají.
