Nejzávažnější teroristické útoky 21.století v Evropě ve zpravodajství ČTK

Abstract

The diploma thesis The worst terroristic attacks of 21st century in Europe in the news of Czech news agency analyzes selected terroristic attacks in order to find out how Czech news agency deals with the news service for its clients in followed periods of time. The thesis specifically analyzes those incidents committed from 1st January 2000 to 31st December 2015 in Europe (except Russia and Turkey), on the ground and with more than 30 victims. Overall, the thesis analyzes four terroristic attacks - in Madrid 2004, in London 2005, in Oslo and Utøya 2011 and in Paris 2015. Another goal of the diploma thesis is to find out specific media routines of foreign editors in Czech news agency. The research is enriched with interviews with the editor in chief of the foreign editors and also with the CEO of the Czech news agency. In theoretical part the thesis briefly reminds the process and circumstances of followed attacks and also offers a profile of Czech news agency emphasizing the work of foreign editors.

Diplomová práce Nejzávažnější teroristické útoky 21. století v Evropě ve zpravodajství ČTK se zabývá analýzou vybraných teroristických útoků s cílem zjistit, jak Česká tisková kancelář pojala ve sledovaných obdobích zpravodajství pro své abonenty. Analyzovány byly konkrétně incidenty, ke kterým došlo od 1. 1. 2000 do 31. 12. 2015 výhradně na souši, na území Evropy vyjma Ruska a Turecka a vyžádaly si více než 30 lidských životů. Ve výsledku se tedy práce zabývá analýzou celkem čtyř novodobých teroristických činů, a to útoky v Madridu v roce 2004, v Londýně v roce 2005, v Oslu a na ostrově Utøya v roce 2011 a v Paříži v roce 2015. Předkládaná diplomová práce si zároveň si klade za cíl vysledovat určité redakční rutiny zahraniční redakce ČTK a jejich následný vývoj ve sledovaných letech. Analýza je obohacena o rozhovory s vedoucím zahraniční redakce a generálním ředitelem ČTK. V teoretické části práce stručně charakterizuje průběh a okolnosti analyzovaných útoků a zároveň nabízí i agenturní profil s důrazem na práci zahraniční redakce.
