Ikonografie etruských mincí

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje ikonografii mincí ve starověké Etrurii, přisuzovaných etruským městům. První část práce je teoretická a tematicky rozdělená do dvou částí. V první části je rozebraná geografie a stručné uvedení do sociální a ekonomické problematiky v Etrurii. V druhé části je úvod do ikonografie etruských mincí, ze kterých je vybráno pár nejrozšířenějších motivů, které se na jednotlivých ražbách vyskytují a ty jsou pak rozebrány podrobněji. Dané motivy jsou představeny a porovnávány s motivy na řeckých, popřípadě římských mincích, a etruském umění. Pro větší přehlednost je většina vybraných motivů doplněna o tabulku, ve které je výskyt daného motivy napříč městy. Tabulky jsou rozděleny podle století a ražeb, a jejich výsledkem je počet kusů, který nám říká, v jakém městě byl motiv používán nejčastěji a v jakém množství. Druhá část je katalog etruských mincí, rozdělený podle měst. Ta jsou doplněna o obrázky u většiny mincí a také o tabulky, kde je znázorněna jejich hodnota, kov a století jejich zavedení. Cílem práce je zjistit jaké vnější vlivy měly největší vliv na ikonografii etruských mincí. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

This bachelor thesis is devoted to the iconography of coins in ancient Etruria, connected with Etruscan cities. The first part is theoretical and thematically divided into two parts. First of these parts discusses the geography and a brief introduction to the social and economic issues in Etruria. The second part is an introduction to the iconography of Etruscan coins. A few of the most common themes, that occur frequently on individual mintages, are selected and then analyzed in detail. The themes are presented and compared with motifs on Greek or Roman coins, and Etruscan art. For greater clarity is the majority of chosen motifs accompanied with a table, where the occurrence of motifs across the cities is shown. Tables are divided by centuries and mintages, resulting in an overview of the cities, where the motive was used most often. The second part is a catalog of Etruscan coins, broken down by cities. The cities are accompanied by the images of coins and the tables with their denomination, metal and century of their introduction.
