Teoretická část práce popisuje současný systém náhradní rodinné péče u nás, specifika pěstounské péče a úlohu psychologa v procesu zprostředkování i následné realizace náhradní péče o dítě. Všechna tato témata jsou předkládána na základě studia odborných tuzemských i zahraničních pramenů a jsou zasazena do kontextu tématu osobnosti pěstouna. Thesis deals with the personality of foster parents in the current systém of the substitute family care in the Czech republic. The theoretical part describes the current substitute care system in our country, the specifics of foster care and the role of psychologists in the mediation process and subsequent implementation of foster care for children. All of these topics are presented based on the study of professional domestic and foreign sources and are contextualized topic personality of foster parent. The second parent presents the research design proposal empirical investigation related to the topic of the thesis. Keywords: Foster care, foster parent, personality, demands, stress.
