Průkopníci české abstraktní fotografie Jaroslav Rössler a Jaromír Funke

Abstract

Bakalářská práce pojednává o životě a díle Jaroslava Rösslera a Jaromíra Funkeho, průkopníků české fotografické abstrakce. Úvod práce je věnován médiu fotografie a fenoménu abstraktní fotografie. Další část přibližuje českou i mezinárodní dobovou fotografickou scénu. Důraz je přitom kladen na abstraktní fotografickou tvorbu. Následuje těžiště práce, tedy studie zabývající se životem a dílem Jaroslava Rösslera a Jaromíra Funkeho. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována jejich abstraktní tvorbě, ve které patřili oba fotografové k průkopníkům. Navazující kapitola obsahuje komparaci tvorby Jaroslava Rösslera a Jaromíra Funkeho. Závěrem je provedeno shrnutí osobností a abstraktní tvorby obou avantgardních fotografů. Práce obsahuje rovněž obrazovou přílohu. Existující monografie a sborníky se vždy zabývají každým autorem zvlášť. Autorka bakalářská práce se proto pokusila o srovnání díla a životních osudů Jaroslava Rösslera a Jaromíra Funkeho ve vzájemných souvislostech a o zasazení tvorby obou fotografů do národního i mezinárodního kontextu.

The Bachelor thesis deals with the lives and works of Jaroslav Rössler and Jaromír Funke, the pioneers of the Czech abstract photography. The introduction of thesis is dedicated to a photography medium and an abstract photography phenomenon. The next part describes both the Czech and international contemporary photographic scene. The stress is put on abstract photography creation. Then the main focus of thesis, i.e. the study dealing with lives and works of Jaroslav Rössler and Jaromír Funke follows. A special attention is paid to their abstract creation where both photographers counted among pioneers. The following chapter includes the comparison of Jaroslav Rössler and Jaromír Funke works. Finally, a summary of personalities and abstract works of both avant-garde photographers is made. The thesis also contains a pictorial supplement. The existing monographs and collections of works always concern each author individually. The author of Bachelor thesis has therefore tried to compare the works and fortunes of Jaroslav Rössler and Jaromír Funke in mutual connections and put the creation of both photographers both into national and international context.
