Duchovní dimenze ve filmech Evalda Schorma

Abstract

The Spiritual Dimension in the Films of Evald Schorm thesis deals with the creation of the director as viewed from the perspective of the theological hermeneutics and christian ethics. It is based on analysis of intertextual references, biblical themes and Christian symbolism, with an emphasis on the specifics of their integration into the author's creative concept and socio - political context. The introductory chapter provides insight into the issue of spirituality and spiritual dimension in Czech Film in 1960' and defines the creation of the period in terms of intertextuality, moral- ethical and formal aspect, thus creating three groups of films designated as biblical, sacred and spiritual. The core of the thesis is the interpretation of the Passion narratives set in films The Parson's End and The Seventh Day, the Eighth Night, as well as interpretations of characters from movies The Tourist, The Every Day Courage and The Return of the Prodigal Son, which are in the spirit of theological hermeneutics compared with the biblical type of Christ. The latter film is confronted with the biblical story of the same name. Diplomová práce Duchovní dimenze ve filmech Evalda Schorma se zabývá tvorbou tohoto režiséra nahlíženou z perspektivy teologické hermeneutiky a křesťanské etiky. Jejím základem je analýza intertextových odkazů, biblických motivů a křesťanské symboliky s důrazem na specifika jejich integrace do autorské tvůrčí koncepce a společensko-politického kontextu. Úvodní kapitola přináší vhled do problematiky spirituality a duchovní dimenze v českém hraném filmu 60. let a vymezuje tvorbu daného období z hlediska intertextuálního, morálně-etického a formálního, čímž vznikají tři skupiny filmů, označené jako biblické, duchovní a spirituální. Jádro práce tvoří interpretace pašijových příběhů zasazených do filmů Farářův konec a Den sedmý, osmá noc, dále pak interpretace postav z filmů Turista, Každý den odvahu a Návrat ztraceného syna, které jsou v duchu teologické hermeneutiky srovnávány s biblickým předobrazem Krista. Posledně jmenovaný film je konfrontován také se stejnojmenným biblickým příběhem. Závěrečná kapitola se věnuje dokumentaristické tvorbě režiséra, a to především dokumentům Žít svůj život, Proč? a Zrcadlení. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
