Sv. Anežka Česká - život a ikonografie světice v umění středověku a baroka

Abstract

Bakalářská práce Sv. Anežka Česká - život a ikonografie světice v umění středověku a baroka je zaměřena jak na život, snahy a cíle této světice, tak na její zobrazení v průběhu středověku a baroka. V roce 2011 bylo 800leté výročí jejího narození a při této příležitosti proběhlo mnoho akcí. Tato práce si klade za cíl veškeré dostupné informace scelit a podat komplexní obraz Anežky jak v její době, tak v době po její smrti. Do tohoto komplexu patří také sv. Hedvika Slezská a sv. Alžběta Uherská. Všechny tři tyto světice žily podobnými ideály, a proto by měly být zmíněny v souvislostech. Práce může být použita jako zdroj informací o světicích, typech zobrazení a jejich proměnách. Nejvíce jsem ve své práci vycházela ze sekundární literatury a katalogů k výstavám na danou tematiku. Konfrontací různých autorů jsem se snažila dojít k nejpravdivějším informacím a závěrům.

Bachelor's thesis St. Agnes of Bohemia - Life and Iconography of the Saint in Medieval and Baroque Art is oriented both on life, efforts and aims of this Saint and on her depictions in progress of the middle Age and Baroque period. In 2011 was the 800years anniversary of her birth and by this occasion many actions took places. This thesis wants to unify all available information and give complex picture of Agnes both in her times and in the time after her death. In this complex belong St. Hedwig of Silesia and St. Elisabeth of Hungary too. All of those three Saints had similar ideals, so they should be mentioned in context. This thesis could be used as source of information about Saints, types of depicting and its changes. I used most secondary literature and catalogs of expositions to this topic. I confronted various authors to select the right information and conclusions.
