Abstract

Cílem bakalářské práce Místo Raymonda Radigueta ve francouzské románové tvorbě 1. poloviny 20. století je pojednat o životě a díle tohoto autora. I přesto, že Raymond Radiguet zemřel velice brzy, stihl mezi šestnáctým a dvacátým rokem svého života vytvořit dvě básnické sbírky, jednu divadelní hru a zejména dva romány. Jeho románům náleží významné místo na poli nejen francouzské, ale také světové psychologické literatury. Vyspělostí svého díla v poměru ke svému věku a zároveň schopností hluboké analýzy duševní stránky postav svých románů předčil Radiguet mnohé jiné literáty. Práce věnuje pozornost důležitým okamžikům Radiguetova dětství a mládí, navázání kontaktů s uměleckým světem té doby a jeho vlivu na mladého spisovatele. Dále pojednává o autorově cestě od prvních literárních počinů až k jeho vrcholným dílům Le Diable au corps (Ďábel v těle) a Le bal du comte d'Orgel (Ples u hraběte d'Orgel). Tato díla jsou pak zkoumána z hlediska své tematické a formální výstavby. Neopomenuta zůstane také jejich autobiografická stránka, jejíž podíl je zejména v Ďáblu v těle velmi silný. Závěrečná úvaha práce přináší konfrontaci s blízkým kontextem soudobé románové tvorby ve Francii.

The aim of the bachelor thesis "Raymond Radiguet's place in the French novel of the 1st half of the 20th century" is to discuss the life and work of this writer. Despite the fact that Raymond Radiguet died very early in age of twenty, he managed during last four years of his life to create two collections of poetry, a drama and especially two novels. These novels became noticeable on the field of not only the French but also the worldwide psychological literature. Radiguet overtook many other writers by the maturity of his work and by his competence to analyze deeply the psychology of his novel's characters. This work is focused on the important moments of Radiguet's childhood and adolescence and also on the relationships with the artists of his era just as the way they influenced the young writer. Moreover, it looks into his journey from the very firsts texts to his two masterpieces The Devil on the Flesh (Le Diable au corps) and The Count's bal (Le bal du comte d'Orgel). These two novels will be analyzed according to the point of view of their theme and structure. We then mention also the question of autobiography in these novels.
