Komentovaný překlad: Pablo de Sarasate (Scherzo, revista de música, ročník XXIII, č. 235, listopad 2008)

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se dělí na praktickou a teoretickou část. První část tvoří překlad článku ze španělského odborného časopisu Scherzo, který pojednává o životě houslisty Pabla de Sarasate, o jeho odkazu a recepci. Následně jsou předkládány teoretické úvahy o procesu tvoření cílového textu. Překladatelská analýza se zaměřuje na originál, zabývá se charakteristickými znaky výchozího jazyka i konkrétního textu. Dále jsou vytyčeny principy, jimiž se překládání bude řídit, a v nejrozsáhlejší části jsou analyzovány konkrétní procesy a změny, které při překládání nastaly. Pro převod textu je klíčovým aspektem funkční hledisko.

The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts: a practical and a theoretical one. The first part contains the translation of an article from the Spanish scientific journal Scherzo about the life, legacy and reception of the violinist Pablo de Sarasate. Then, the genesis of the target text is being reflected theoretically. The translation analysis focuses on the original article and describes its particular aspects as well as general attributes of the source language. After specifying the principles of the translation, the largest part of the thesis concentrates on particular processes and changes which took place during the translation. The crucial aspect of the work is a functional point of view.
