Význam dítěte pro rodinu v proměnách času

Abstract

Záměrem diplomové práce bylo reflektovat pojetí dítěte v historické perspektivě s důrazem na poznání měnících se podmínek současného dětství s cílem hlubšího porozumění dnešnímu dítěti předškolního věku. V teoretické části jsme sledovali především proměny pojímání hodnoty dítěte a dětství v různých historických epochách (od počátku dějin lidstva až po současnost), přínos dítěte pro rodinu z hlediska jejích funkcí a vliv dítěte na život jednotlivých členů rodiny. Praktická část byla realizována jako kvalitativní výzkum (prostřednictvím písemných úvah o dětství, rozhovorů o rodině, dětských kreseb a tvořivé dílny v mateřské škole) a představovala aktuální sondu do světa předškolních dětí z pohledu rodičů, prarodičů i samotných dětí. Z písemných úvah, rozhovorů a radostné atmosféry tvořivé dílny v mateřské škole vyplývá, že současní rodiče a prarodiče si svých dětí vysoce cení jako významné životní hodnoty: děti představují smysl jejich života, přinášejí jim citové uspokojení a jistotu, přispívají k jejich stimulaci, činorodosti a rozvoji, znamenají reflexi jejich vlastního života, jsou pro ně radostí i starostí zároveň a napomáhají kontinuitě jejich života ve vztahu k budoucnosti i minulosti. The aim of the thesis is to reflect the concept of the child in a historical perspective with an emphasis on recognizing the changing conditions of contemporary childhood with the goal of attaining a deeper understanding of today's pre-school child. In the theoretical section we primarily examined the changes in the way children and childhood have been valued in various historical periods (from the beginning ofhuman history to the present), the contribution of children to the family with respect to their function and impact of children on the lives of individual family members. The practical section consisted of qualitative research (written reflections on childhood, interviews with families, children's drawings and creative workshops), representing a current survey of the world of pre-school children from the perspective of parents, grandparents and children themselves.
