Malý český člověk v dílech Karla Poláčka

Abstract

Cílem této bakalárské práce je analyzovat umelecké zobrazení "malého ceského cloveka" v dílech Karla Polácka. Práce je rozdelena do peti hlavních cástí. V první kapitole se zameruji na osobnost Karla Polácka a na základní rysy jeho díla v kontextu jeho doby. V druhé kapitole se zabývám otázkou, jak se "malý ceský hrdina" chová v dílech soucasníku Karla Polácka. Tretí kapitola je venována humoru v Poláckove tvorbe a jeho zaclenení do ceské humoristické literatury. Ctvrtá kapitola zkoumá Poláckovo dílo jako literaturu humoristickou, satirickou, literaturu se židovskou tématikou, zábavnou a venující se malomestskému životu. Uvádí základní charakteristiky díla a hlavních postav na základe citací z autorových knih. Poslední, neboli pátá cást obrací pozornost na stárnutí jazyka a textu v dílech Karla Polácka. Cílem zkoumání autorovy tvurcí cinnosti v této cásti je ukázat nadcasovou platnost jeho literárních postav. Dále se venuji otázce, soucasného vnímání Poláckových textu. V záveru bakalárské práce strucne shrnuji dílcí témata, poznatku a zkušenosti, které jsem v prubehu jejího zpracování získala.

The purpose of this thesis was to analyze the artistic depiction of "little" Czech Man in the work of Karel Polácek. The thesis is separated into five chapters. The first chapter focuses on the life and personality of Karel Polácek and states the basic feature of his works. In the second chapter I examine the question how the "little" Czech hero behaves in the Karel Polácek's contemporaries works. The third chapter emphasize on the humor of Karel Polácek and his involvement in Czech humoristic literature. The fourth chapter examines the works of Polácek as literature humoristic, satirical, literature with Jewish themes, humorous and devoted to country life. This part presents the basic characteristics of the work and the main characters, supported by quotations from the book. The last one, fifth chapter turns attention to the aging of language and text in the works of Karel Polácek. The goal of this analysis is to demonstrate the timelessness of the author's literary characters. Further, I devote to the question "how the text speaks to us today". At the conclusion I briefly summarize subtopics, knowledge and experience I gained during my research.
