Revize minulosti ve filmech Jana Procházky

Abstract

Anotace: Tato práce se věnuje čtyřem filmům natočeným podle námětů Jana Procházky, Ať žije republika, Kočár do Vídně, Noc nevěsty a Ucho, které ve své době představovaly pokus o objektivní zhodnocení událostí z konce druhé světové války a rané éry budování komunismu v Československu. Filmy zkoumá v širším celospolečenském a zejména politickém kontextu a snaží se postihnout význam scenáristické tvorby Jana Procházky a jeho tvořivého přístupu k historii.

Summary: This thesis is devoted to four films based on the topics by Jan Procházka, Long Live the Republic, Coach to Vienna, The Nun's Night and The Ear. In their time they represented an attempt to evaluate objectively the events of the end of World War II and the early era of building communism in Czechoslovakia. The thesis studies the films in the society-wide and political context and tries to express the significance of Jan Procházka as a screenplay writer and his creative approach to history.
