Využití koní v raném středověku

Abstract

Diplomová práce "Využití koní v raném středověku" pojednává o vztahu koně a člověka v raně středověkých Čechách a na Velké Moravě. Vztah lidí a koní má hluboké kořeny a může nabývat různé podoby, tato práce na tento vztah nazírá z archeologického hlediska a zjišťuje podoby tohoto vztahu u Avarů, Starých Maďarů a hlavně u Slovanů. Autorka klade důraz na popis součásti koňské postroje a na význam ostruh, řeší otázku konzumace koňského masa a v neposlední řadě přináší přehled lokalit s nálezy fragmentů koňských kostí.

Thesis "The use of horses in the early Middle Ages," discusses the relationship between horses and humans in early medieval Bohemia and Great Moravia. The relationship of humans and horses has deep roots and can take various forms, this work sees this relationship in terms of archaeological finds and analyse this relationship with the Avars, Old Magyars and mainly by Slavs. The author emphasizes the description of the components of harness and the importance of spurs, addresses the issue of eating horsemeat and finally gives an overview of locations with the findings of horse bone fragments.
