Problematika nedostatku sester v intenzivní péči

Abstract

V teoretické části je popsána práce sestry v intenzivní péči, problematika nedostatku sester a stabilizační opatření všeobecných sester. Cílem práce bylo zmapovat problematiku nedostatku sester v intenzivní péči. Dalším cílem bylo zjistit, zda má nedostatek sester v intenzivní péči vliv na kvalitu ošetřovatelské péče a zjistit, jakým způsobem sestry reagují na opatření k zajištění stabilizace sester. Sběr dat byl proveden na základě dvou dotazníkových šetření. První forma dotazníku byla určena vrchním sestrám a druhá pro zdravotní sestry pracující v intenzivní péči. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 8 vrchních sester a 84 zdravotních sester ze dvou fakultních nemocnic v Praze. Z výsledků analýz odpovědí respondentů došlo k potvrzení hypotézy 1: Problematika nedostatku sester v intenzivní péči je stále aktuální a počet sester je nízký. Hypotéza 2: Nedostatek sester v intenzivní péči má značný vliv na kvalitu ošetřovatelské péče a hypotéza 3: Zdravotní sestry mají problémy s udržením kvality péče o nemocné v intenzivní péči, byly také potvrzeny. Poslední hypotéza 4: Zdravotní sestry se zajímají o stabilizační opatření a vítají tyto změny, byla vyvrácena. The theoretical part deals with the work of nurse in intensive care, the problem of nurse's scarcity and stabilization measures of general nurses. The main objective of this work was to map out the problem of nurse's scarcity in intensive care. Another aim was to find out whether the scarcity of nurses in intensive care has an effect on the quality of nursing care and how nurses react to the measures of securing the stabilization of nurses. Information were collected on the basis of two questionnaire surveys. The first form of questionnaire was intended to matrons and the second form was addressed to nurses working in intensive care. The research file was consisted of 8 matrons and 84 nurses from two faculty hospitals in Prague. From results analysis of respondents was confirmed hypothesis No. 1: Problems of nurse's scarcity in intensive care are still actual and the number of nurses is low. Hypothesis No. 2: Scarcity of nurses in intensive care has a considerable impact on the quality of nursing care and hypothesis No. 3: Nurses have problems with maintaining quality of patients care in intensive care. These hypotheses were also confirmed. However the last hypothesis No. 4: Nurses are interested in stabilization measures and they appreciate these changes, wasn't confirmed.
