Osobnost malíře Miloslava Holého na pozadí komunistického režimu (1948-1974) v Československu

Abstract

In my bachelor thesis I will deal with the life of the Czech painter Miloslav Holý during the communist regime. I will focus on the part of his life when he worked as a rector and teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague from 1947 to 1958. I will also look on his youth, which is important for the context of his work and the formation of his personality. I will outline his relationships with people in artistic circles, both his colleagues and his students. Thanks to his diaries, which he kept during his lifetime, I will be able to bring unpublished information. The diaries describe many ideas that open up new perspectives on the painter's personal and artistic life.

Ve své bakalářské práci se budu zabývat činností českého malíře Miloslava Holého v období komunistického režimu. Zaměřím se na část jeho života, kdy působil jako rektor a pedagog na Akademii výtvarných umění v Praze mezi lety 1947 až 1958. Budu se věnovat také jeho mládí, které je důležité pro kontext jeho tvorby a formování jeho osobnosti. Nastíním jeho vztahy s lidmi z uměleckých kruhů, jak s jeho kolegy, tak s jeho žáky. Díky jeho deníkům, které si psal po celý svůj život, budu moci přinést dosud nepublikované informace. Deníky popisují mnoho myšlenek, které otevírají nové pohledy na malířův soukromý a umělecký život.
