and keywords Name: Prevention and Repression In Youth Crime Control Abstract: This thesis addresses the issue of youth crime control. Its aim was to assess whether the existing crime prevention system and the legal regulation of youth in the justice system contain effective tools for dealing with pre/delinquent children under fifteen years of age and juveniles. It was also assessed the functionality of youth crime control in the territory of the Děčín district. Last but not least, the experience of the bodies functioning pursuant to the Act in the proceedings under the Act Nr. 218/2003 Coll., Concerning Youth Responsibility for Unlawful Acts and Justiciary in Suits of Youth and Amendments to Some Acts (Act on Justiciary in Suits of Youth) with procedures and various types of measures regulated by this Act was assessed. The thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and empirical, supplemented by 10 appendices. Appendices 1-3 are intended to enable the reader to better understand the discussed matter. a klíčová slova Název: Preventivní a represivní kontrola kriminality mládeže Abstrakt: Tato diplomová práce řeší problematiku kontroly kriminality mládeže. Jejím cílem bylo posoudit, zda stávající systém prevence kriminality a právní úprava sankcionování mládeže obsahují účinné nástroje pro práci s pre/delikventní mládeží. Posuzována byla dále konkrétní realizace kontroly kriminality mládeže na území okresu Děčín. V neposlední řadě byly zhodnoceny zkušenosti představitelů orgánů činných v řízení podle zákona č. 218/2003 Sb., o odpovědnosti mládeže za protiprávní činy a o soudnictví ve věcech mládeže a o změně některých zákonů (zákon o soudnictví ve věcech mládeže) s jednotlivými druhy opatření obsaženými v této právní úpravě. Práce sestává ze dvou částí, teoretické a empirické, a je doplněna o 10 příloh. Přílohy č. 1-3 umožňují lepší pochopení probírané matérie.
