Jana Horynová, Ph.D. Title: Specifics of Occupational Therapy in Early Intervention Services Abstract of the Thesis: Early intervention is a field-based social service provided to families with a child with a disability up to the age of seven. This service is offered by early intervention centers, where early intervention counselors work as part of an interdisciplinary team. Occupational therapists focus on supporting the child's development, independence, play, and the overall functioning of the family. The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to identify and describe the specifics of occupational therapy interventions in early intervention services. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the structure and function of early intervention as a social service, introduces the professionals involved in the interdisciplinary team, and describes the potential roles of occupational therapy. For the practical part, a qualitative research method was used. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with three occupational therapists working in early intervention. Jana Horynová, Ph.D. Název bakalářské práce: Specifika ergoterapeutické intervence v rámci poskytování služeb rané péče Abstrakt bakalářské práce: Raná péče je terénní sociální služba, popřípadě doplněná ambulantní formou, která je poskytovaná bezplatně rodinám až do věku sedmi let dítěte s disabilitou. Raná péče je poskytována centry rané péče, ve kterých pracují poradci rané péče v rámci interdisciplinárního týmu. Ergoterapeut se zaměřuje na podporu vývoje dítěte, jeho soběstačnosti, hry a na fungování celé rodiny. Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit a popsat specifika ergoterapeutické intervence v rámci poskytování služeb rané péče. Teoretická část práce se věnuje charakteristice sociální služby rané péče, přehledu odborníků v týmu a možnostem ergoterapeutické intervence. Ke zpracování praktické části byla využita metoda kvalitativního výzkumu. Ke sběru dat byl použit semistrukturovaný rozhovor se třemi ergoterapeuty pracujícími v rané péči. Získaná data byla dále analyzována pomocí tematické analýzy. Ergoterapie zatím není v České republice běžnou součástí rané péče, ačkoli může významně přispět ke zvýšení kvality života rodin.
