Charirativní práce a kategoriální pastorace v prostředí PČR a VS ČR

Abstract

9 ABSTRACT This thesis explores pastoral work in prison and police settings, looking in particular at the work of chaplains and their personal stories of how they came to choose this profession. The thesis focuses on charity work, its origins and its links with the police and prison environment. In addition, the thesis describes pastoral care, in a general context, the tools used in the chaplaincy profession, and there is a chapter highlighting and describing pastoral care in the prison service and the police. The research part of the thesis focuses on the collection of data from the respondents who were chaplains in the prison and police sectors. Learning about the nature of their work and their incentives to embed themselves in the profession. Furthermore, stating what they believe is needed in the future to improve the profession and improve its performance. From the information gathered, it was found that each of the respondents had an individual path to the profession, several respondents were connected by common elements, but in the final analysis, each had a unique story of why they became a chaplain and fulfilled the profession. This research contributed to the conclusion that there is no single path and events that lead to this vocation, everyone has their own story and their own opinion to improve...

Diplomová práce se zabývá pastorační prací ve vězeňském a policejním prostředí, zejména na práci kaplanů a jejich osobité příběhy, jak se pro tuto profesi rozhodli. Práce je zaměřena na charitativní práci, její vznik a propojení s policejním a vězeňským prostředím. Dále je v diplomové práci popsána pastorace, v obecném kontextu, nástroje používané při výkonu profese kaplana, a také je zde zaměřena kapitola na vyzdvihnutí a popsání pastorace ve vězeňské službě a u policie. Výzkumná část diplomové práce je zaměřena na shromáždění dat u oslovených respondentů z řad kaplanů z vězeňské i policejní sféry. Poznání náplně jejich práce a jejich podnětů k tomu zakotvit v této profesi. Dále konstatování, co dle nich je do budoucna potřeba pro zlepšení působení této profese a zlepšení jejíž výsledků. Ze získaných informací se zjistilo, že každý z dotazovaných měl individuální cestu k této profesi, několik respondentů pojily společné prvky, ale ve finále každý z nich měl unikátní příběh proč se stal kaplanem a plní danou profesi. Tento výzkum přispěl k závěru, že není jednotná cesta a události, které vedou k tomuto poslání, každý má svůj příběh a svůj názor pro zlepšení působnosti daného povolání, každá cesta je zcela individuální.
