Život mimo genderovou binaritu - soubor esejí o konstrukci a dekonstrukci genderu

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu genderu a genderové diverzity. Za pomoci sbírky esejí se pokusí přiblížit akademické koncepty spojené se sociální konstrukcí genderu a historické příklady osobností a společností, které nezapadají do systému genderové binarity. V teoretické části se zabývá vymezením eseje jako žánru. Poskytuje stručnou historii esejistického žánru obecně i v českém prostředí, shrnuje existující typologie a reflektuje stav žánru dnes. V neposlední řadě se dívá na esej také jako na možný nástroj pomalé žurnalistiky a na metodologií psaní esejů a volby zmiňovaných autorů.

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the topic of gender and gender diversity. Through a collection of essays, it attempts to present academic concepts associated with the social construction of gender and historical examples of individuals and societies that do not fit into the gender binary. In the theoretical part, it discusses the definition of the essay as a genre. It provides a brief history of the essay genre in general and in the Czech context, summarizes existing typologies and reflects on the state of the genre today. Last but not least, it also looks at the essay as a possible tool of slow journalism and at the methodology of essay writing and the choice of the authors mentioned.
