Konzervatoř Jana Deyla a střední škola pro zrakově postižené v Praze: Subkultura "Deylák" jako motivace pro indikované studenty k budoucímu profesionálnímu hudebnictví

Abstract

This thesis deals with the Conservatory of Jan Deyl in Prague and its students and absolvents. The Conservatory of Jan Deyl is a Special High School for people with visual handicap and it is the only one of its kind in Czech Republic. The Conservatory leads its students to the future profession as a teacher of music. At times, there is a tendency of absolvents to lose their interests in being a teacher of music and a lot of them tend to choose other professions such as informatics, massages or languages, but not music. Even though there are still some people who stay truth to music teaching, they often end up working in a smaller town. In the beginning of my research I wanted to discover that strange subculture, as an Ethnologist discovers culture of primitive civilizations. A field research took one school year (2006/2007), during which I spend time around the school to discover the environment and to familiarize with blind people and their daily habits. On the basis of observation I came up with my aims and my research question: 'How does Conservatory motivate its students to study music and to become professional musicians in their future lives?' Tato bakalářská práce je o Konzervatoři Jana Deyla v Praze, o jejích studentech a absolventech. Konzervatoř Jana Deyla je speciální střední hudební škola pro zrakově postižené studenty, jediná v České Republice. Konzervatoř své studenty vede k budoucímu zaměstnání učitelů hudby. V nynější době ubývá zájem studentů o učitelství hudby a mnozí z nich se po absolutoriu věnují zcela odlišné oblasti (informatika, fyzioterapie, jazyky), nebo pokračují ve studiu na vysoké škole. Někteří se i přes tuto klesající tendenci uplatňují jako učitelé hudby, hlavně v menších městech. Ve svém výzkumu jsem zpočátku chtěla tuto zvláštní subkulturu poznat, stejně jako etnolog cizí kulturu. Terénní výzkum trval jeden školní rok (2006/2007), během něhož jsem docházela do školy, poznávala prostředí a seznamovala se s problematikou nevidomých mladých lidí. Na základě pozorování jsem zformulovala výzkumnou otázku. Cílem se mi stalo odhalit strategie, kterými škola své studenty motivuje do studia a do budoucího profesionálně hudebního života. Výzkum jsem založila na zúčastněném pozorování a na rozhovorech se studenty a absolventy konzervatoře. Ve výzkumu jsem se zaměřila hlavně na indikované studenty, tedy na studenty se zrakovou vadou, protože u nich je otázka hledání budoucího zaměstnání zvlášť palčivá.
