Abstract

This bachelor's thesis aims to provide a Czech translation of two selected chapters (Introduction and Understanding Mental Health) from the digital edition of Daniel Howell's book You Will Get Through This Night (Dey Street Books, 2021), which deals with mental health. The second part of this thesis consists of an accompanying annotation, which includes an analysis of the source text, establishes the translation method, and covers the different types of translation problems and shifts that had occurred. Cílem této bakalářské práce je zprostředkovat český překlad dvou vybraných kapitol (Introduction a Understanding Mental Health) z digitálního vydání knihy You Will Get Through This Night (Dey Street Books, 2021) od Daniela Howella, jejímž tématem je duševní zdraví. Druhou část práce tvoří doprovodný komentář k překladu, jehož náplní je překladatelská analýza výchozího textu, určení metodiky překladu a následný popis překladatelských problémů a posunů, ke kterým docházelo.
