Od ohnivé vody k tekutému chlebu aneb Alkohol v současné české próze

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the narratological analysis of five contemporary Czech prose works of short to medium length that significantly involve the motif of alcohol. The thesis focuses on texts, or texts from the collections: Prázdniny (Jan Balabán), O rodičích a dětech (Emil Hakl), Jako pes (Filip Topol), Pálenka (Matěj Hořava), and Tisíce plošin (Sylva Fischerová). In terms of the studied categories, it is inspired by Boris Eichenbaum's theory of skaz narrative, which is briefly characterized in it. The thesis considers the linguistic aspect with regard to the proximity of spoken language and describes the function of the alcohol motif in terms of the narrator, chronotope and characters.

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá naratologickou analýzou pěti současných českých prozaických děl krátkého až středně dlouhého charakteru významně pracujících s motivem alkoholu. Věnuje se textům, případně textům ze souborů: Prázdniny (Jan Balabán), O rodičích a dětech (Emil Hakl), Jako pes (Filip Topol), Pálenka (Matěj Hořava) a Tisíce plošin (Sylva Fischerová). V ohledu zkoumaných kategorií se inspiruje teorií skazového vyprávění Borise Ejchenbauma, kterou krátce charakterizuje. Práce zohledňuje jazykovou stránku s ohledem na blízkost mluvené řeči a popisuje funkci motivu alkoholu z hlediska vypravěče, časoprostoru a postav.
