Krajanská komunita v Izraeli z antropologické perspektivy; integrace do místní společnosti a její vztah k původní domovině

Abstract

The aim of this PhD thesis The compatriot community in Israel from an anthropological perspective; integration into local society and the relationship to the original homeland is to analyse the process of reconstruction and interpretation of collective identity in the narratives of Jews who were born in Czechoslovakia and emigrated to Palestine between 1945- 1949, and their descendants within the second and third generations. The conducted research approaches this issue through the biographical narratives of three generations and is conceptually anchored in social constructivist theories of ethnicity. The analysis, which is territorially situated in Israel, is conducted as an anthropological reflection seeking to answer questions related to the construction of ethnic or collective identity and the features that are essential to it. The narrative analysis is carried out on the basis of the narratives of six families of Czech Jews living in Israel today. Interviews were conducted with the first, second and third generations. The research includes questions about the content of shared identity and the transmission of collective consciousness. Předmětem disertační práce Krajanská komunita v Izraeli z antropologické perspektivy; integrace do místní společnosti a vztah k původní domovině je přiblížit proces rekonstrukce a interpretace kolektivní identity v naracích židů, kteří se narodili v Československu a emigrovali do Palestiny mezi lety 1945 a 1949, a jejich potomků v rámci druhé a třetí generace. Výzkum tuto problematiku popisuje prostřednictvím biografických vyprávění tří generací a je konceptuálně ukotven v sociálně konstruktivistických teoriích etnicity. Analýza, jež je teritoriálně situována na území Izraele, je vedena jako antropologická reflexe hledající odpověď na otázky, které se pojí ke konstrukci etnické nebo kolektivní identity a znakům, jež jsou pro ni podstatné. Narativní analýza je realizována na základě vyprávění pěti rodin českých židů, kteří dnes žijí v Izraeli. Rozhovory byly vedeny s první, druhou a třetí generací. Součástí výzkumu jsou otázky týkající se obsahu sdílené identity a transmise kolektivního vědomí. Pozornost je věnována především tomu, jakým způsobem narátoři konstruují svou kolektivní identitu a jaká jsou určující témata nebo fenomény klíčové pro konstrukci etnické identity všech tří generací.
