Maorská kultura

Abstract

Práce se zabývá historií, kulturou a konflikty maorské populace. Popisuje osídlení Nového Zélandu Maory a následné objevení těchto ostrovů Abelem Janszoonem Tasmanem. Centrem mého zájmu jsou dále pak konflikty při osidlování Nového Zélandu evropskými kolonisty vznikající v důsledku rozdílnosti obou kultur. Nedílnou součástí maorské historie jsou válečné či ozbrojené konflikty trvající až do poloviny 20. století, kdy postupně dochází k renesanci do té doby pomalu upadající kultury. Od konce druhé světové války se Novozélandské vlády snaží postupně napravovat křivdy spáchané na Maorech, kteří si jen pomalu zvykají na tyto změny v politice.

This project is trying to get into Maori 's history, culture and conflicts of Maori's population. It describes inhabiting New Zealand by Moari, discovering these islands by Abel Janszoon Tasman and conflicts that came up during the conquering of New Zealand by European colonists, because of the diversity of both cultures. The important part of Maori's history includes war conflicts until mid 20's, when the renesaince of the falling culture started to happened. Since the end of the world war II. the New Zealand goverments are trying to settle down all the harms done to the Maoris in the past and they are slowly trying to get used to these changes.
