Abstract

The bachelor thesis presents the theoretical view of the teaching profession and is focused on the personal and professional development of the teacher during his career. In the introductory chapters, the terms related to the teaching profession are characterized and motivation for choosing the profession is studied. Other chapters highlight the pitfalls of this profession and its positive and negative impacts on the teacher's personality and mental health.

Bakalářská práce předkládá teoretický náhled na učitelskou profesi a je zaměřena na osobnostní a profesní vývoj učitele v průběhu výkonu tohoto povolání. V úvodních kapitolách jsou charakterizovány pojmy související s učitelskou profesí a zabývají se motivací k její volbě. Další kapitoly upozorňují na úskalí této profese a na její pozitivní i negativní dopady na osobnost učitele a jeho duševní zdraví.
