Abstract

Title: Attitudes to american football at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, Charles University Objectives: The focus of this bachelors thesis is to find out what are the attitudes of the students of Faculty of physical education and sport of Charles University to American football and also find out what knowledge students possess about this sport. Methods: In this work is used the method of quantitative questioning through questionnaire survey of students and graduates of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University. Questionnaire was distributed in electronic form and was created exclusively for the purposes of this thesis. The theoretical part was created and written based on studies of specialised literature. Results: In conclusion the research helped with finding the attitudes students of Faculty of Physical Education and Sport to American football. The results are showing what knowledge do those students possess about rules of the game, posts or specific clubs and players. Some of the respondents were showing an interest in trying out this sport. Current knowledge of american football is average, however the stances are mostly positive and there is also an interest in playing this sport as well. Název: Postoje k americkému fotbalu na UK FTVS Cíle: Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit jaké postoje mají studenti Fakulty tělesné výchovy a sportu Univerzity Karlovy k americkému fotbalu a zjistit, jaké znalosti mají studenti o tomto sportu. Metody: V této práci je použita metoda kvantitativního dotazování prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření u studentů a absolventů Fakulty tělesné výchovy a sportu Univerzity Karlovy. Dotazník byl distribuován elektronicky a byl vytvořen výhradně pro účely této práce. Zpracování teoretických východisek proběhlo na základě studia odborné literatury. Výsledky: Výzkumem byly zjištěny postoje studentů UK FTVS k americkému fotbalu. Dále výsledky ukazují znalosti studentů v oblasti pravidel hry, postů nebo konkrétních klubů a hráčů. Několik respondentů projevilo zájem o vyzkoušení tohoto sportu. Současné povědomí studentů o americkém fotbalu je průměrné, postoje jsou převážně kladné, avšak určitý zájem o tento sport je.
