Havlův odkaz v Ostrovní 13 (literární reportáž)

Abstract

Bakalářská práce formou literární reportáže představuje Knihovnu Václava Havla a odkaz člověka, jehož jméno nosí. V teoretické části vymezuje žánr literární reportáže. Nejdříve popisuje historický vývoj reportáže se zaměřením na české a polské novinářské a literární prostředí. Poté v kontrastu s českou tradicí definuje specifický žánr, kterým je polská literární reportáž, přičemž se detailněji zaměřuje na typy vypravěčů a jazyk. V praktické části dochází k realizaci poznatků ve formě autorské literární reportáže, která přibližuje prostředí a fungování Knihovny Václava Havla. Čtenáři prezentuje unikátní instituci, která vznikla po vzoru amerických prezidentských knihoven za účelem archivace a vydávání textů Václava Havla a archiválií s ním spojených, ale i k pořádání kulturních akcí, jež v sobě nesou jeho ducha. Literární reportáž Havlův odkaz v Ostrovní 13 přináší interpretaci, co daný odkaz představuje, v jakých oblastech můžeme dodnes vnímat vliv Václava Havla a čím je pro mnohé inspirací. Základem pro ni je mediální rešerše, studium Havlových textů, návštěvy instituce a rozhovory s Jáchymem Topolem, který je v Knihovně dramaturgem. This thesis presents the Václav Havel Library and the legacy of the person whose name it holds in the form of the literary reportage. In the theoretical part it defines the literary reportage genre. Firstly it describes the historical development of the reportage, focusing on the Czech and Polish journalistic and literary enviroment. Then, in contrast with the Czech tradition, it defines the specific genre that is the Polish literary reportage, focusing in more detail on the types of narrators and the language it uses. In the practical part the theoretical knowledge is being implemented in the form of an original literary reportage, which presents the environment and the functioning of the Václav Havel Library. It presents an unique institution that was modeled on the American presidential libraries for the purpose of archiving and publishing the works of Václav Havel and related materials, as well as organising cultural events that carry his spirit. The literary reportage Havel's legacy at Ostrovní 13 gives an interpretation of what the legacy represents, meaning in what areas we can still feel the influence of Václav Havel and what makes him an inspiration to many.
