Italský "parlamentní román" přelomu 19. a 20. století

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce má za úkol představit parlamentní román, který se formoval koncem 19. století a na vybraných dílech ukázat specifika tohoto "žánru". Pro potřeby této práce jsem zvolila pět stěžejních děl, na nichž jsem vystavěla svou literární analýzu: I Vecchi e I Giovani, I Viceré, L'imperio, Daniele Cortis a Le Vergini delle rocce. Text bakalářské práce je rozdělen do tří hlavních kapitol. První tvoří historické události doby sjednocení Itálie, které jsou pro pochopení struktury parlamentního románu nezbytné. Boj za sjednocení trvá až do konečného dobytí Říma v roce 1870, kdy startuje nová politická éra, a to parlamentarismus. Důraz je kladen na události reflektované v samotných románech. Historický přehled je zakončen vstupem Itálie do první světové války. V druhé části práce představuji vybraná díla parlamentního románu a také jejich autory - Luigiho Pirandella, Federica De Roberta, Antonia Fogazzara a Gabriele D'Annunzia - kteří svým specifickým literárním stylem reflektují dobu, ve které žijí. Poslední, stěžejní částí bakalářské práce je samotná analýza textů parlamentního románu, jak z pohledu naratologie, tak tematiky. This bachelor thesis presents the parliamentary novel, which had been formed during the second half of 19th century and demonstrates the specifics of this "genre". For needs of the analysis I chosed five main novels: I Vecchi e I Giovani, I Viceré, L'imperio, Daniele Cortis a Le Vergini delle rocce. The text itself is composed by three main chapters. The first part contains a historical introduction of the time of the italian unification, which is necessary for understanding the political background of the parliamentary novel. Particular attention is paid to the affairs that are explicitly reflected in the novels. The historical background ends with the italian entry to the World War I. In the second part I present the authors - Luigi Pirandello, Federico De Roberto, Antonio Fogazzaro and Gabriele D'Annunzio - who reflects in their writings the events of the time, in which they lived. The last part contains the analysis of presented texts from the point of view of narratology and thematics. At the conclusion attention is paid to the summary of topics typical for parliamentary novel.
