Velká Británie a volný obchod. Analýza britské parlamentní debaty v kontextu jednání o protokolu TTIP

Abstract

Bakalářská práce Velká Británie a volný obchod, Analýza britské parlamentní debaty v kontextu jednání o protokolu TTIP se zabývá přístupem hlavních britských politických stran, Konzervativní strany, Labouristické strany, menší měrou také Liberálních demokratů, k volnému obchodu a k protokolu TTIP. Práce nejprve mapuje vztah jednotlivých parlamentních stran k mezinárodnímu, potažmo volnému obchodu. V další kapitole je podrobně popsán protokol TTIP, jenž měl být dohodou o volném obchodu mezi Evropskou unií, jejíž je Británie součástí, a Spojenými státy. Na základě následné analýzy parlamentních debat v letech 2013-2016 tato práce podrobně rozebírá nejprve postoje zmíněných politických stran k volnému obchodu a následně také postoje k protokolu TTIP. V průběhu práce jsem pracoval s výzkumnou otázkou v následujícím znění: "Jaké jsou výhrady a možné hranice Velké Británie v podpoře volného obchodu - v komparaci tří hlavních pojetí britské politiky, které lze sledovat na příkladu TTIP?". V diskusi a následném závěru pak práce odpovídá na tuto otázku, tedy jaké jsou meze podpory a možné výhrady britských politických stran k volnému obchodu a protokolu TTIP, a také proč měli jednotlivé strany svůj názor kontinuální (Konzervativní strana, Liberální demokraté) nebo se v průběhu let měnil v závislosti na...

Bachelor thesis Great Britain and Free Trade, Analysis of the British parliamentary debate in the context of TTIP negotiations deals with the stances of major British political parties, the Conservative Party, the Labour Party and to lesser extent also the Liberal Democrats, towards the free trade and the TTIP protocol. The thesis first examines the relationship of individual parliamentary parties to international and therefore free trade. The next chapter describes the TTIP protocol, which was to be a free trade agreement between the European Union, of which Britain is a part, and the United States. In subsequent analysis of parliamentary debates in 2013-2016 the thesis examines stances of concerned political parties towards the free trade and the TTIP protocol. In the course of this thesis I had worked with the research question in following wording: "What are the reservations and possible limits of Great Britain in promoting free trade - in a comparison of the three main concepts of British politics that can be traced to the example of TTIP?".
