Akutní komplikace u diabetes mellitus 1. typu

Abstract

Title: Acute Complications of Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus Objectives: The main aim of my thesis was to gather information from a group of young diabetics, suffering from type 1 Diabetes mellitus, about acute complications they have suffered. In the research I inquired about occurrence, frequency, the most common causes, symptoms and first aid during the state of the acute complications. Methods: The research method of gathering information was an anonymous questionnaire comprising of 25 closed questions divided into 3 thematic areas. The target group was made up of 40 respondents, at the age between 10 and 26 years, from whom 32 were children and 8 were adults. The questionnaire was distributed in cooperation with The Civil Association of Parents of Children Suffering from Diabetes and Celiac Disease (Diacel) based in Pisek. The collected data are presented using tables and graphs. Results: Based on the collected data I found out that the most common acute complication among the respondents is hypoglycaemia. More than half of the respondents experienced a severe attack of hypoglycaemia at least once in their life. Název: Akutní komplikace u diabetes mellitus 1. typu Cíle: Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo zjistit u skupiny mladých diabetiků informace, týkající se problematiky akutních komplikací při onemocnění diabetes mellitus 1. typu. Ve výzkumné studii jsem se zaměřila na výskyt, četnost, nejčastější příčiny, příznaky a první pomoc při těchto stavech. Metody: Jako metodu sběru dat jsem zvolila anonymní anketní šetření v rozsahu 25 uzavřených otázek členěných do 3 tematických okruhů. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo celkem 40 respondentů ve věku od 10 do 26 let, z toho se jednalo o 32 nezletilých a 8 zletilých diabetiků. Anketní šetření proběhlo ve spolupráci s občanským sdružením rodičů dětí s diabetem a celiakií (Diacel) se sídlem v Písku. Získaná data z anketního šetření jsem převedla do tabulek a znázornila pomocí grafů. Výsledky: Na základě anketního šetření jsem zjistila, že u respondentů se z akutních komplikací vyskytuje častěji hypoglykémie. Více než polovina respondentů zažila těžkou hypoglykémii alespoň jednou za život. Dále jsem zjistila, že ne všichni jedinci mají při sobě vždy zdroj cukru, který má zabránit rozvoji hypoglykémie. U stavu rozvíjející se hyperglykémie nebyla ani v jednom případě potřebná zdravotnická záchranná služba. Z výsledků vyplývá, že nejvíce respondentů uvedlo jako příčinu těžké...
