Specifika překladu dětské literatury na příkladu vybraných překladů literárních děl K. I. Čukovského

Abstract

(in English): The diploma thesis focuses on translating children's literature: literary works of K. I. Chukovsky in selected Czech translations and its specifics. Amongst these specifics we can mention the dual address, censoring during Soviet Union, adaptations, the questions of illustrations in translating children's literature and utmost importance of phonetic and rhythmic structures in Chukovsky's literary works. Last two specifics must be in harmony with text itself due to the reader's age category (preschool and school-age children). Specifics of children's literature as well as theory and strategies in translating children's literature are applied on selected Czech translations. The translation analysis will be carried out on following works: Телефон and Муха-Цокотуха. The analytic part of given diploma thesis focuses to what extent the translators took into consideration stated specifics. Both analyzed works has been selected thanks to their most characteristic elements on which we can demonstrate the author's style and then compare them with translations. (česky) Diplomová práce se zaměří na specifika překladu dětské literatury na příkladu vybraných překladů literárních děl K. I. Čukovského. Mezi tato specifika patří například dualita adresáta, tj. jeho dvojí role, didaktická funkce dětské literatury, dále cenzura spojená s díly vydávanými za Sovětského svazu, adaptace, neodmyslitelná je i vizuální stránka, tj. role ilustrací v dětské literatuře a u Čukovského také velmi podstatná fonetická a rytmická struktura jeho děl. Zkoumaná díla jsou totiž určena především dětem předškolního a školního věku, proto poslední dvě specifika (vizuální a zvuková stránka) musí být v souladu s textem. Specifika překladu dětské literatury stejně jako teorie a strategie překladu jsou aplikována na vybraných překladových dílech. K analýze byla vybrána díla Телефон a Муха-Цокотуха. Praktická část práce zkoumá, nakolik byla daná specifika překladateli při překladu zohledněna a dodržena. V každém překladovém díle jsou vybrány nejcharakterističtější prvky, v nichž se projevuje styl autora, a ty jsou poté konfrontovány s překladem. Praktická část je tedy zaměřena na zformulování a demonstraci jednotlivých překladatelských problémů a jejich řešení. Výsledky srovnávací analýzy jsou v závěru práce shrnuty a usouvztažněny s poznatky získanými v teoretické části práce.
