Možnosti překládání poezie - překlady básní J. Skácela do ruštiny

Abstract

Bakalářská práce Možnosti překládání poezie se zabývá problematikou překladatelských teorií v současnosti, překladem poetických textů a konkrétně pak Skácelových básní do ruštiny. Cílem práce je podat kompletní přehled a kritický rozbor jednoho ze dvou doposud vydaných souborů přeložených básní a následně pak nabídnout vlastní překlad. V první části bakalářská práce ve dvou kapitolách pojednává o stavu moderního překladatelství, zkoumá otázku překládání poezie a zvláště pak rýmovaných textů a řeší pojmy adekvátnost a ekvivalentnost překladu. Další praktická část představuje kritický rozbor ruského vydání výběru Skácelových básní v překladu A. Kušnera a A. Purina. Součástí práce je taktéž pokus o vlastní adekvátní překlad s komentáři a porovnání některých vybraných pasáží s oficiálním překladem. Vlastní překlad jako celek je součástí přílohy.

anglicky: The Bachelor thesis The Possibilities of the Translation of Poetry deals with the current problems surrounding the theories of translation, with the translation of poetic texts and then specifically with the translation of the poetry of Skácel into Russian. The aim of this thesis is to provide a complete overview and a critical analysis of one of the two currently published collections of poems translated into Russian, and then to offer my own translation. In the first section, the thesis in its first two chapters discusses the state of modern translation, analyses the issues surrounding the translation of poetry, and specifically of rhymed texts, and discusses the terms adequacy and equivalence in translation. The following practical section presents a critical analysis of the Russian edition of a collection of some poems by Skácel, translated by A. Kushner and A. Purin. My own attempt at an adequate translation is also presented as part of this thesis, complete with commentary and comparison of some selected key passages with the published translation. My complete translation itself is appended at the end.
