Téma šílenství v díle Miguela de Cervantese a Williama Shakespeara

Abstract

Záměrem této práce je analyzovat téma šílenství v díle Miguela de Cervantese a Williama Shakespeara. V mé studii se zabývám podobností charakteru postav u obou autorů, jejich vlastnostmi a rolí, zejména v díle Důmyslný rytíř don Quijote de la Mancha a v díle Hamlet. Srovnávám podobnosti především u postav Dona Quijota a Hamleta spojené s tématem šílenství a vlivu renesance a karnevalového pojetí světa na tato díla.

The intent of this paper is to analyze the concept of madness in Cervantes' and Shakespeare's works. The thesis deals with the nature of the characters similarities among both authors, their characters and roles, particularly in the works of El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha and Hamlet. The point is to compare similarities in the characters of Don Quixote and Hamlet associated with the concept of madness and influence of the Renaissance and carnival concept of the world in these works.
