Praktická část obsahuje český překlad vybraných kapitol z knihy Mon chat au quotidien od Cédrica Hernandeze. Teoretická část je věnovaná analýze výchozího textu založené na modelu Christiany Nordové. Dále se zabývá typologií a řešením překladatelských problémů, překladatelskou metodou a posuny, ke kterým při překladu došlo.
The bachelor thesis consists of two parts: practical and theoretical. The practical part contains a Czech translation of selected chapters from a book Mon chat au quotidien by Cédric Hernandez. The theoretical part is dedicated to an analysis of the source text, based on Christiane Nord's model. Furthermore, it deals with the typology and solution of translation problems, with translation method and shifts that have been made in the course of the translation process.
