Rituál a jeho vyobrazenie v materiálnej kultúre Etruskov

Abstract

Práca sa zaoberá zobrazeniami rituálov na etruských bronzových zrkadlách. V prvej časti práce je skúmaný a definovaný pojem "rituál". Pozornosť je následne venovaná Etruskom a ich náboženstvu s dôrazom na etruskú náuku, známu ako disciplina etrusca. Text spestrujú zmienky od antických rímskych a gréckych autorov, ktorí vyjadrujú svoj názor k tejto téme. Nasledujúca kapitola je venovaná etruským rituálom, ktoré tématicky delí na veštecké a rodinné. V druhej časti práce po predstavení etruského bronzového zrkadla ako takého, je z vešteckých a rodinných rituálov vytvorený katalóg ich zobrazení na etruských bronzových zrkadlách. Ten obsahuje ilustrácie, miesta, kde sú dnes jednotlivé zrkadlá vystavené, ich miesta a roky nálezu, rozmery a popis scény na zrkadle. Údaje z katalógu sú následne analyzované pomocou tabuliek, máp a grafov, aby sa docielilo utriedeniu nazhromaždených údajov a lepšiemu pochopeniu množstva informácií. Práca má za cieľ pomocou definovaných etruských rituálov, zmienok od antických autorov a zanalyzovaním katalógu etruských bronzových zrkadiel so zobrazeniami týchto rituálov, zistiť, aké typy rituálov sa vyskytujú na týchto zrkadlách, kto ich vykonával a či sa dá na základe toho povedať, že sa tieto rituály vykonávali aj v reálnom svete, alebo či sa dá za pomoci datácie zrkadiel...

This thesis deals with the depictions of rituals on Etruscan bronze mirrors. The first part studies and defines the term "ritual". Attention is then given to the Etruscans and their religion with an emphasis on Etruscan doctrine, known as the etrusca disciplina. The text is enlivened by references of ancient Roman and Greek authors who expressed their opinion on the subject. The next chapter is dedicated to the Etruscan rituals, thematically divided into divinatory and family. After the introduction of the Etruscan bronze mirrors, in the second part a catalogue has been created through the representations of divinatory and family rituals on the Etruscan mirrors. The catalogue includes illustrations, places where they are today exposed, places and years of their discovery, dimensions and description of the scene on the mirror. Catalogued data is then analysed using charts, maps and graphs that aim to sort the collected data and to produce a better understanding of the datasets. Based on the defined Etruscan rituals, references of ancient authors and the analysed catalogue, the aim of this thesis is to discover the kind of rituals depicted in these mirrors and who carry them out.
