Komentovaný překlad vybrané kapitoly z knihy The Assassination of Reinhard Heydrich; Callum MacDonald; Edinburgh: Birlinn Limited, 2007

Abstract

Cílem této práce je přeložit kapitolu z knihy The assassination of Reinhard Heyidrich od britského autora Callum MacDonalda a překlad okomentovat. V komentáři jsou nejprve analyzovány vnětextové a vnitrotextové faktory podle modelu Christiane Nordové, poté jsou stanoveny funkce textu a překladatelská metoda. V dalších částech práce jsou popsány překladatelské problémy a posuny, ke kterým během překladatelského procesu došlo.

The aim of this thesis is to translate a chapter from Callum MacDonald's The assassination of Reinhard Heyidrich and to provide a commentary of the translation, the analysis of the source text based on Christiane Nord's model and the determination of the text's functions and the translation method. In the next chapters, the major translation problems are discussed along with the translation shifts that took place during the translation process.
