Existencialismus v díle Alberta Moravii

Abstract

Cílem této práce je vyhledat existenciální prvky v tvorbě italského spisovatele Alberta Moravii a zmapovat jejich vývoj. Zaměřili jsme se na čtyři romány, které reprezentují jednotlivá období spisovatelovy tvorby, a pokusili jsme se popsat existenciální prvky v příbězích hlavních představitelů. Nejprve jsme se zaměřili na definici existencialismu a ujasnili jsme jeho základní rysy. Posléze jsme zmapovali vývoj existenciálních prvků v italské literatuře skrz postavu, pro niž jsme použili souborné označení inetto a dostali se tak k tvorbě Alberta Moravii. U jednotlivých románů jsme se zaměřili jak na hlavního hrdinu, tak na literárně-historický kontext, vypravěče a vliv autorova života na dílo. V závěru jsme se věnovali českým překladům Moraviových románů a pokusili se definovat povědomí tohoto autora v České republice. Provedeným rozborem jednotlivých děl jsme dokázali, že existenciální prvky prolínají celou autorovu tvorbu a že u nich dochází k jistému vývoji, který je ovlivněn mimo jiné i autorovou biografií. Na základě zjištěných tezí můžeme konstatovat, že Alberto Moravia je právem označován za autora děl s existenciální tématikou.

The aim of this thesis is to search for the existential features in the work of Italian novelist Alberto Moravia and to map their development. We focused on four novels which represent individual periods of author's work and we tried to describe existential features in the life stories of the main characters. At first we focused on the definition of existentialism and we defined its basic features. After that we mapped the development of existential features in Italian literature through the character for which we used personal designation "inetto" and we get to the work of Alberto Moravia. In the individual novels we focused on the main character as well as literally- historical context, the narrator and the impact of author's life on his work. In conclusion of the thesis, we devoted our attention on Czech translations of Moravia's novels and we tried to define the awareness of this novelist in the Czech Republic. By the performed analysis of the novels we proved that existential features appear through the whole work of the author and that they undergo some development marked by the biography of the author. Based on our research we can say that Alberto Moravia is rightly called the author of the novels with existential features.
