Sen a obraz v českém umění třicátých let 20. století

Abstract

Bakalářská práce pod názvem "Sen a obraz v českém umění třicátých let 20. století" se zabývá vztahem snů k výtvarnému umění. Prostřednictvím zkoumání jednotlivých přístupů umělců k tomuto tématu a analyzováním jejich uměleckých děl odpovídá na otázku, do jaké míry a jakým způsobem může sen ovlivnit umění. Práce je zaměřená pouze na českou scénu, kde část umělců patřila k surrealistickému hnutí. Na rozdíl od francouzské scény nebylo pravidlem, že téma podvědomí ovlivňovalo jenom surrealisty. Popisované obrazy byly vytvořeny v technice malby, kresby, koláže a fotografie. Zachycují snové záznamy nebo jsou naplněné snovým ovzduším. První kapitola je teoretickým úvodem k zpracování motivu snu v umění a seznamuje s průlomovou prací Sigmunda Freuda Výklad snů z roku 1900, stejně jako s reakcemi dalších autorů na tuto publikaci. Druhá kapitola pojednává o snovém přeludu, jenž se objevuje na obrazech umělců, a je charakterizován jako objekt-fantom. Často se objevuje v dílech Jindřicha Štyrského jako hlavní motiv odkazující na dětské zážitky autora. Důležitým motivem je snová krajina typická pro Josefa Šímu a Františka Hudečka, stejně jako město, které je zachyceno na fotografiích Jindřicha Štyrského, Jaromíra Funkeho a Josefa Sudka. One of the main goals of the thesis entitled Dreams and Painting in Czech Art in 1930s is to describe the relationship between dreams and fine arts. Through studding artists' approach to this topic and analyzing their works of art I want to explain in which way and to what degree dreams can influence art. The paper is focusing only on Czech artistic scene where some artists belonged to the Surrealist movement. As distinct from the French scene, in Czechoslovakia not only Surrealists were interested and inspirited by unconsciousness. The described pictures use various techniques of painting, drawing, collage and photography. The artists capture dreams' imagery or fill the painting with a dreamlike atmosphere. The first chapter is a theoretical introduction to the adaptation of dreams by art. It acquaints the reader with the groundbreaking work The Interpretation of Dreams (1900) written by Sigmund Freud. It also deals with the reaction other writers had to this publication. The second chapter deals with the illusions of dreams (the motif which is often repeated in Jindřich Štyrský's work and refers to his childhood) that is characterized as object-phantom.
