Koncept vědomí, jeho součásti a funkce v procesu systémového fungování v pojetí Karla Wolfganga Deutsche

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the concept of political consciousness in the understanding of the German political scientist and international relations theorist Karl Wolfgang Deutsch. In the first, theoretical section it introduces some existing approaches and conceptualizations of consciousness in political science. Consequently, it provides an essential introduction to Deutsch's communications theory, its basic points and some crucial concepts, such as information, feedback, memory, or will. The aim of this section is to outline the specifics of Deutsch's communication-based approach to the analysis of political systems and provide context for the main subject of this thesis. After general introduction it deals with the very concept of consciousness. Through the analysis of Deutsch's pivotal work The Nerves of Government it outlines theoretical foundations of his concept, defines its functions and significance within the political system, connects it with other concepts of Deutsch's theory and marks some differences compared to approaches of other political scientists. Bakalářská práce se zabývá konceptem vědomí politického systému v pojetí německého politologa a teoretika mezinárodních vztahů Karla Wolfganga Deutsche. V první, teoretické části práce nejdříve seznamuje s některými dosavadními přístupy a konceptualizacemi vědomí v politické vědě. Následně poskytuje nezbytný úvod do Deutschovy teorie komunikace, seznamuje s jejími východisky a s některými jejími pilířovými koncepty, kterými jsou informace, zpětná vazba, paměť, či vůle. Cílem této části je zejména nastínit specifika Deutschova komunikačního přístupu ke studiu politických systémů a poskytnout čtenáři kontext pro hlavní náplň práce. Po obecném úvodu již přistupuje k samotnému Deutschovu konceptu vědomí. Analýzou jeho stěžejního díla Nervy vlády rozpracovává teoretické základy tohoto pojmu, vymezuje jeho funkce a význam v rámci politického systému, dává jej do souvislosti s dalšími koncepty Deutschovy práce a ilustruje některé rozdíly oproti přístupům jiných autorů. Ve druhé, praktické části práce formou kvalitativního výzkumu aplikuje poznatky teoretické části na konkrétně vybraný politický systém. Cílem výzkumu je prostřednictvím zvolených metod přiblížit vybrané aspekty vědomí, ověřit platnost některých Deutschových závěrů a v závěrečné části pak nastínit potenciál komunikačního přístupu pro další...
