Abstract

Průběh demografického přechodu a možné využití demografické dividendy ve vybraných zemích MENA regionu Abstrakt Cílem této bakalářské práce je zhodnotit průběh demografické revoluce v regionu MENA, především ve dvou vybraných zemích - Íránu a Iráku. Průběh demografické revoluce je zhodnocen na základě analýzy plodnosti a úmrtnosti. Dalším cílem je zhodnotit možné využití demografické dividendy, která v těchto zemích může nastat. Jedná se především o zhodnocení klíčových faktorů, které mají na demografickou dividendu vliv. Nejdříve je analyzován vývoj věkové struktury, která je klíčová pro vymezení počátku i délky období demografické dividendy. Poté přichází na řadu analýza dalších faktorů, jako je zdravotní stav a vzdělání obyvatelstva a jeho zaměstnanost. Tyto faktory rozhodují o tom, zda země dokáže efektivně využít potenciálu demografické dividendy. Je tedy zřejmé, že nejen příznivá věková struktura, ale i správně směrovaná vládní politika jsou pro období demografické dividendy nezbytné. Na závěr práce jsou shrnuty poznatky analýzy, pomocí nichž určíme, v jaké fázi demografické revoluce se Írán a Irák nachází. Dále přibližně vymezíme období demografické dividendy v těchto dvou zemích a zhodnotíme, na kolik jsou schopny využít jejího potenciálu. Klíčová slova: demografická revoluce, demografická...

Process of demographic transition and possible use of demographic dividend in selected countries of the MENA region Abstract The aim of this work is to evaluate the course of demographic transition in the MENA region, mainly in two selected countries - Iran and Iraq. The course of this demographic transition is evaluated based on the analysis of fertility and mortality. Another aim is to evaluate the possible use of the demographic dividend that may occur in these countries. This is mainly to evaluate the key factors which affect the demographic dividend. First, we analyze the development of the age structure which is crucial for defining the beginning and the length of the period of the demographic dividend. Then comes the analysis of other factors such as health, education and employment of the population.These factors determine whether a country is able to effectively exploit the potential of the demographic dividend. It is obvious that not only the favorable age structure but also properly directed government policy is necessary for the period of demographic dividend.
