Sociální práce s problémovou rodinou

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na sociální práci s problémovým členem. V mém případě se jedná o rodinné soužití s uživatelem návykových látek. Tento stav trval dlouhých dvanáct let, nyní se muž snaží abstinovat. Teoretická část práce se snaží vyložit základní termíny, týkající se zejména sociální práce, rodiny a drogové závislosti a dalších podstatných informací, které jsou ke zvolenému tématu stěžejní. Praktická část tvoří případovou studii zmiňovaného muže, která je doplněná o rozhovor s jeho mladším bratrem. Stěžejním cílem mé práce bylo doložit důležitost rodiny při abstinování jedince. Sekundárním cíl měl poukázat na to, jak dokáže drogová závislost jednoho člena rodiny celkově narušit uspořádání celého rodinného systému. Stanovené cíle se mi podařily naplnit.

This bachelor's thesis focuses on social work with a troubled family member. In this particular case, it looks at living with a substance abuser. The situation lasted a very long twelve years; at this time, the man in question is trying to remain abstinent. The theoretical section of the thesis explains the basic terms associated primarily with social work, the family, and drug dependency as well as other information that is relevant to the selected topic. The practical section of the thesis consists of a case study of the aforementioned substance abuser, supplemented by an interview with his younger brother. The primary objective of this thesis is to prove the important role the family plays when one of its members is trying to remain abstinent. The secondary objective is to show how the drug addiction of one family member can disrupt the organisation of the overall family system. Both of these defined objectives have been achieved.
