Pohádky bratří Čapků v překladech do čínštiny

Abstract

This thesis aims to analyze the Chinese translations of literary fairytales by Karel and Josef Capek, and the role of these translations within the target culture. The initial chapter gives a brief overview of the historical background of children's literature development and literary fairytales development within the cultures of Europe and China. We will outline the main issues in translating children's literature and will further analyze the role translations for children play in the Chinese literature. The core of the thesis is the analysis of two contemporary Chinese translations - Liu Xingcan's translation of fairy-tales by Josef and Karel Capek and Ren Rongrong's translation of a collection of fairy-tales Devatero pohadek by Karel Capek. The analysis is based on the polysystems theory and follows the model for translation analysis by Gideon Toury. On the basis of analyzing each level of the translated text, we will attempt to lay down "the underlying concept of translation", i.e. to assess whether the translation aims to meet the norms of the target culture or those of the source culture. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá rozborem čínských p eklad autorských pohádek Karla a Josefa ýapk a jejich rolí v cílové kultu e. V úvodní části práce se pokusíme stručn nastínit historické pozadí vývoje d tské literatury a autorské pohádky v kontextu evropské a čínské kultury. Zmíníme se o hlavních problémech v p ekládání d tské literatury a budeme se zabývat postavením p ekladové d tské literatury v rámci čínského literárního systému. V hlavní části práce se zam íme na analýzu dvou současných čínských p eklad - p ekladu pohádek brat í ýapk od Liu Xingcan a p ekladu Devatera pohádek Karla ýapka od Ren Rongronga. V analýze vycházíme z teorie polysystém a modelu p ekladatelské analýzy Gideona Touryho. Na základ rozboru jednotlivých rovin p ekladu stanovíme "vnit ní koncept obou p eklad " - tj. p iklání- li se p eklad k normám výchozí či cílové kultury. V záv ru práce se pokusíme na základ poznatk z analytické části stanovit, jakou roli hrají tato p ekladová díla v cílové čínské literatu e a jakým zp sobem p ispívají k jejímu obohacení.
